Assembling the Case
When asked what aspects of the law Dan Monahan likes best, he always responds with two answers: helping injured people in a difficult time and putting together a case from start to finish. Putting a case together from start to finish is one thing that most lawyers do not do. Most lawyers do not assemble the entire case because they can make more money by farming out or delegating certain portions of the case. Not Dan.
Dan Monahan will work on every portion of your case, from the initial interview, to the filing of pleadings, motions, arguments in court, all the way to trial and the final resolution of the case. Think of it like this. If you were to build a table you would need four legs, a table top, and bunch of screws or nails. At other law firms, one “associate” would screw in one leg. Then, another “associate” would screw in another leg. This goes on and on until finally, the lawyer you actually spoke to puts on the table top and tells you that he has finished the table. In actuality, the “associates” built the table and the lawyer you hired only performed the last act. This lawyer informs you that the table is built or in other words, he has built your case. Not Dan. Dan knows that the final product, your case, is only as solid as its component parts. What if one of those “associates” did not fasten one of the legs correctly? The table falls.
