Standard for loss of sight is loss for all practical intents and purposes

Loss of use of an eye is determined on the basis of the employee’s eyesight without regard to the use of corrective lenses. Where the eye has been injured but not destroyed the test to determine whether the eye was lost for all practical intents and purposes. That test is met when the injured eye does not contribute materially to the employee’s vision in conjunction with the uninjured eye.
